**Meta** has launched **Incognito Chat** for **WhatsApp** and the Meta AI app, providing a secure environment for users to interact with artificial intelligence. This new feature, announced today, ensures that conversations remain private and inaccessible even to the company itself. By utilizing WhatsApp’s Private Processing technology, the system processes messages locally or in a secure cloud environment where data is not saved or used for training purposes.

## Real-Time Sharing with Instants

Alongside the privacy updates for WhatsApp, Meta introduced **Instants**, a standalone application and feature set focused on unedited, real-time photo sharing. The platform aims to capture authentic moments by prohibiting gallery uploads and photo editing. Users can only share photos taken directly through the app with their Close Friends or mutual followers, ensuring that the content is genuine and current.

Security and safety are central to the **Instants** experience. The app includes several protective measures:

- Screenshot blocking to prevent unauthorized saving of temporary photos.
- An undo button to quickly retract accidental sends.
- A snooze function to temporarily stop incoming notifications.
- Photos that disappear immediately after viewing or within 24 hours.

For younger users, **Instants** integrates with Meta’s Teen Accounts. This includes an automatic Sleep Mode that pauses the app between 10 PM and 7 AM to encourage healthy digital habits. These features are rolling out starting this week as Meta continues to expand its ecosystem of private and real-time communication tools.
