Xbox Opens ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest with Over 30 Play

Microsoft has launched the ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest, a month-long event providing players with access to more than 30 playable game demos. Starting this week, the collection is available across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, allowing users to test upcoming titles at no additional cost.

The event runs from June 4 through June 30, 2026, and is hosted within a dedicated section of the Xbox Store. This initiative follows previous demo festivals aimed at highlighting smaller developers and giving the gaming community early hands-on time with diverse projects. Among the featured titles are Akatori, Alpha Nomos, and Canvas of Thoughts, representing a broad range of genres and art styles.

New Titles Confirmed for Xbox

In addition to the playable demos, Microsoft confirmed that 18 newly announced games are currently in development for the Xbox platform. These additions expand the existing library of independent titles, though specific release dates for the full versions of these games have not yet been finalized. Players can find the full list of participating games by navigating to the Indie Selects Demo Fest collection on their console or the Xbox app on PC.
