Gigabyte Unveils AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY with Advanced Double Flow Through Cooling
Gigabyte has introduced the AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY, a high-end graphics card built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. This new flagship model features 32GB of GDDR7 memory and a 512-bit interface, delivering a significant bandwidth increase over previous generations. The card utilizes the AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY branding to represent the company's premier air-cooled solution for the GB202 chip, which was announced this week.
The hardware is defined by the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, which employs a unique separated PCB layout. This design enables what the manufacturer calls "Double Flow Through" airflow, allowing air to pass through the cooling fins more efficiently. To manage the thermal demands of the AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY, the assembly includes three specialized fans and superconducting heat pipes within a 330mm frame.
Connectivity on the AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY is handled by three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and a single HDMI 2.1b port. Due to its massive cooling solution, the card requires a 4-slot PCIe space for installation. Gigabyte recommends a 1000W power supply unit to support the power requirements of the Blackwell-based system. The 28 Gbps memory speed ensures the device remains at the top of the performance hierarchy for enthusiasts and creators as of 2026-04-30.
