Samsung Expands AI Capabilities to Mid-Range Galaxy A57 and A37 5G
Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G on April 14, 2026, bringing its new Awesome Intelligence software suite to the mid-range market. These devices, powered by One UI 8.5, integrate advanced artificial intelligence features previously reserved for flagship models.
The Awesome Intelligence platform includes Circle to Search with multi-object identification, allowing users to find information about items on their screen instantly. Additionally, the Notes app now supports Voice Transcription, while a new AI Select tool facilitates faster multitasking by predicting user actions.
Hardware specifications for the Galaxy A57 5G include a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display and the Exynos 1680 chipset. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery to support extended usage of its AI-driven features. The Galaxy A37 5G serves as the more affordable entry point while maintaining core software capabilities.
In a significant shift for the A-series, Samsung confirmed that both the A57 and A37 will receive six years of security and OS updates. This commitment matches the longevity standards set by the company's premium S-series lineup, ensuring the Awesome Intelligence features remain secure and updated through 2032.
The Galaxy A37 5G is priced starting at £399 ($449), while the more powerful Galaxy A57 5G begins at £529 ($549). Both models represent a strategic push to make high-end AI tools accessible to a broader consumer base as of April 2026.
