Google Pixel 11 Price Ticks Up to $899 as 128GB Storage Option Disappears
Google is preparing to unveil the Pixel 11 series at its Made by Google event on August 12, and leaked Amazon listings have revealed the Pixel 11 price and specs across the lineup. The base model now starts at $899, a $100 increase over the Pixel 10, as Google drops the 128GB storage tier and makes 256GB the entry-level configuration.
The pricing shift mirrors moves by Apple and Samsung, which have also pushed base storage higher on their latest flagships. According to screenshots of listings that appeared briefly on Amazon this week before being taken down, the Pixel 11 256GB model costs $899, while the 512GB version runs $1,019. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099 for 256GB and goes up to $1,449 for 1TB, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL ranges from $1,299 to $1,649. A Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected.
Pixel 11 Price and Specs Details
The base Pixel 11 will be available in four finishes: Obsidian, Hibiscus, Pistachio, and Frost. Pro models add Dune and Sterling options, while the Fold variant appears in Pine and Midnight shades. The Pixel 11 price of $899 puts it in direct competition with the iPhone 17 and Galaxy S26, both of which also start at 256GB of storage.
Display specs have also surfaced. The standard Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch OLED panel with 2856x1280 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching 2,200 nits peak brightness. Battery capacity has grown to 4,985mAh, up from 4,840mAh in earlier leaks, and the phone is expected to run on Google's Tensor G6 chip built on a 2nm process with 12GB of RAM. Charging speeds may reach 45W, a notable improvement over the Pixel 10's 30W charging.
On the camera front, the Pixel 11 carries a new 50MP main sensor, while Pro models add a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens. Software processing remains a key differentiator for Google's camera experience.
The phones go on sale August 20, with pre-orders opening August 11, ahead of the August 12 announcement event in New York. The Pixel 11 price in Europe is expected to land at roughly €999.
Why this matters
Google is resetting expectations for its smartphone line with the Pixel 11, following a broader industry pattern of eliminating low-storage SKUs. For buyers, the higher entry cost comes with double the base storage, likely reducing dependence on cloud services over the phone's lifecycle. The August 20 release date means the phones will arrive just over a week after their formal unveiling.
